Warrior Resilience Center
43rd Public Affairs Detachment
June 19, 2012 | 1:38
The Warrior Resilience Center provides treatment to soldiers suffering from PTSD. Soldiers achieve comprehesive fitness through participating in the Warrior Resilience Center's program at Fort Bliss, TX. The WRC provides wholistic treatment to soldiers suffering from PTSD. Lead: Sometimes the wounds of war can't be seen, but because of the Army's comprehensive approach to mental healthcare, they can be treated. SPC. Tyffani Chaney takes us to a center that is doing just that. TAG: June is PTSD awareness month. Visit the National Center for PTSD online at www.ptsd.va.gov. Soundbites include Vicki Thomas - PH.D., Chief Warrior Resilience Center; Brendan O'Rourke - PH.D., Clinical Psychologist, Warrior Resilience Center and SFC. Benjamain Migliore - Graduate Warrior Resilience Center. Produced by SPC. Tyffani Chaney, 43rd Public Affairs Detachment, FT. Bliss, TX.
