Video story coverage of the Los Angeles Air Force Base (LA-AFB) COVID-19 booster shot event, organized by the 61st Medical Squadron. The event provided the LA-AFB military, civilian, and contractor workforce with booster shots of Pfizer or Moderna vaccines. The event serviced 300 appointments and a few walk-ins. The LA-AFB is currently a highly immunized installation for its size. Featuring Lt. Col. Cherie Hampton talking about her reasons for receiving the vaccine, booster, and why it’s important for her to be protected from COVID-19.
